About the idol of God Shani, in Shani Shignapur which appears to be made up of iron and stone, which has a black complexion with a height of 5 feet and 9 inches and 1 feet and 6 inches in width and which is exposed to heat, cold and rain in the open all day and night, it is learnt from the local elders that some 350 years ago it was self appeared, in Shingnapur village.
Shani Shingnapur is situated at a distance of 6 kms from Ghodegaon on Aurangabad-Ahmednagar highway. The distance from Aurangabad is 84 kms and from Ahmednagar it is 35 kms. From Ghodegaon, there is a motorable tar road up to the idol of Shri Shaneshwar and is open in all the seasons. The population of this village is about 3000. There are no regular buses but on pilgrimage days there are special transport buses plying to Shingnapur, District Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India.

The pious site of Shri Shanidev Maharaj, Kokilavan is situated at a distance of about 4 - 5 kms from Delhi - Agra Highway, Kosi - Kalan. The distance from Delhi is approx. 90 kms. From the Highway a motorable tar road is up to the Temple. Along with the Shanidev's Temple their are also the Temples of Banke Bihari, Shivji and Nav Graha.

The pious site of Shree Shani Dham, Asola, Fatehpur Beri is divided into two parts the eastern and the western. Herein, apart from the highest of Shani Idol, the attractive endowed statues of other gods and goddesses are also erected. By worshipping through these statues, the devotees get their desires fulfilled. Apart from this, there is a big library and a research center, in the Ashram Premises itself wherein many a learned men keep on making research over Lord Shani as well as over other religious view points. Here, all sort of questions related to astrology, Ayurved, Yoga and the Tantra are being answered. Rather Sage Rajasthani ji himself remains available all the times in order to answer such questions to the curious devotees. He also suggests remedial measures thereof.
